Growth Consulting

Helping in-person math schools grow.

Ellen Kulinsky partners with owners and directors of in-person K–12 math learning centers and enrichment schools — in the U.S. and internationally — on parent consultations, instructor training, marketing, and enrollment strategy. It’s the playbook she helped build while leading five in-person Art of Problem Solving centers.

What We Work On

Programs families love — and that keep growing.

Parent Consultations

Turning first conversations with families into lasting enrollments — how to listen, place students well, and explain the value of a rigorous, joyful program.

Instructor Training

Hiring, training, and mentoring instructors who teach advanced math with both rigor and warmth, so quality holds as you grow.

Marketing Advisory

Positioning, messaging, and outreach that reach the right families in your community and show them what makes your program different.

Enrollment Growth Strategy

Retention, program structure, and growth planning for owners ready to scale — whether that means more students, new courses, or a new location.

Experience

Built on years of running real centers.

  • Helped launch Art of Problem Solving’s first Bay Area campus
  • Led five in-person AoPS Academy centers — Irvine, San Diego, Pleasanton, Fremont, and Santa Clara
  • Director of the AoPS Virtual Campus, serving over 10,000 students
  • Director of Engagement and Growth at AoPS
  • 500+ educators hired, trained, or mentored

Before You Book

What happens on the intro call?
A short, no-pressure conversation about your center, your goals, and whether working together makes sense. No pitch deck, no obligation.
Who is growth consulting for?
Owners and directors of in-person K–12 math learning centers, enrichment programs, and tutoring businesses — in the United States and internationally.
Do you work on-site or remotely?
Both. Most consulting runs live over video, with on-site visits for instructor training or when being in the room makes the difference.
How much does it cost?
Engagement structures vary with scope, depth, and duration. Budgets are discussed transparently once we understand what you’re hoping to build.
